Each invoice item / purchase item can apply one or more taxes on it, refer to this link for more information. Now, let's focus on how to create, edit and manage taxes on Accent system.
Step by step tutorial to create, edit and manage taxes
1. After you logged in to your account in Accent system, proceed to Tax Settings at the side menu.

2. The taxes you have created previously should appear in the list.
3. Click on + Add New button if require to add new tax to the business.
4. If wish to edit existing tax, click on the Action dropdown button at the right side of the tax record, and click Edit.

5. Fill in the necessary details such as the Tax Name, Tax Rate (in percentage), Tax Type and Tax Number (optional).
6. Click Save or Update to store your tax settings into the system.
7. The taxes created here will be used in issueing invoices / purchases. Refer to this link for more information on how to issue invoice and how to add taxes in invoices.
